Precision parts,
built to print.
CRL Manufacturing turns drawings into production-ready metal components — forging, casting, laser cutting and CNC machining under one roof. Tolerances held to ±0.005 mm, every lot inspected and documented before it ships.
Parts we make
every day.

We measure
our work in microns.
CRL started with two lathes and a simple promise: ship what the drawing says, when we said we would. Two decades later the machines are newer, the promise hasn't changed. Our floor runs on first-article inspection, written process sheets and operators who are allowed — expected — to stop a job that doesn't look right.
Hold the tolerance
Every setup is proven on a first article before the run starts. CMM reports travel with the parts.
Ship when we say
Capacity is planned backwards from your delivery date, not forwards from our convenience.
Engineer with you
We flag features that cost money and suggest the change that doesn't — before the tool is cut.
Better every lot
Cycle times, scrap and inspection data are reviewed monthly. What improved gets standardised.
"A part is not finished when the machine stops. It's finished when the inspection sheet is signed."

A.
People before programs
Machinists average 11 years on the floor. Apprentices train beside them, not behind a screen.
-
B.
Documented, not remembered
Process sheets, tool lists and inspection plans live with the job — so lot 500 runs like lot 1.

C.
Clean shop, clear head
5S is audited weekly. A tidy floor is the cheapest error-proofing there is.
From RFQ to dock.
A single, traceable path for every order — prototype quantities included.
Drawings, material callout and volume reviewed within one business day.
Tolerance and feature notes returned with quote — cost drivers flagged early.
Programmed, fixtured and cut on CNC turning, milling or 5-axis centres.
First article, in-process checks and CMM reports to the drawing.
Protected, labelled, documented and dispatched with full traceability.
